Officials from the National Lottery and the Ministry of Agriculture unveiled a commemorative ticket for the National Bee Day lottery in Yucatán, scheduled for August 17. This event included support for Maya meliponiculturists in Maní, where federal, state, and local authorities revealed the Superior Draw No. 2895. Agriculture Minister Columba Jazmín López Gutiérrez and Yucatán Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena presented 17 kits to Maya meliponiculture groups and individual support to 500 women. The ceremony also featured the ticket presentation and announcements regarding the National Lottery draw, all part of the initiative “Strengthening Beekeeping and Traditional Maya Meliponiculture.” Olivia Salomón, the National Lottery's director, also participated.
