Fadime Kuş, a 62-year-old entrepreneur from Tekirdağ, has expanded her beekeeping operation from a single hive to 450 over the past 30 years, providing for her family. After working in the garment industry in Istanbul, she moved to Naip Mahallesi in Tekirdağ after marriage and began farming with her husband. Their beekeeping journey started in 1996 when they captured a wild hive while working in the fields. In her first year, she increased her hives to 6-7 and has since grown her operation to 450 hives, making beekeeping their primary source of income.
