In the Çay district of Afyonkarahisar, a survey was conducted to document beekeeping activities and assess the number of beehives in Karamık village. This initiative aims to establish a record of the existing beehive population.

Technical staff from the Çay District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry carried out the hive counting and identification in local apiaries. The current status of the apiaries was examined to determine the number of hives present.

The goal of these efforts is to create an official record of the beehive population in the region. The updated data is expected to facilitate better monitoring of beekeeping activities and improve planning for sector-related initiatives.
