Interest in beekeeping is growing, attracting not only older individuals but also a rising number of young enthusiasts. This trend is particularly encouraging for Erwin Gabele, the chairman of the Stockach Beekeepers Association, who enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge with newcomers. Three young beekeepers recently discussed their training at the teaching apiary in Zoznegg, explaining how they became passionate about this hobby. Their journey began with a year-long beekeeping course, as Jana Schmalfuß noted, which allows participants to experience all phases of a bee colony's life cycle. This year, the association again offered a course that received significant interest, according to Gabele.
