In Kırşehir, a novel method for honey production has been introduced where bees build honeycombs inside specially designed glass jars. This technique was showcased during the first honey extraction of the 2026 season at a production site in the Karabacak area, led by experienced beekeeper Mustafa Atik. According to Atik, the bees create combs directly within the jars, storing honey there, which differs from traditional honeycomb production.
