Date: 24.08.2026 11:49 Good news for beekeepers from Mayor Güler! In Ordu, a bountiful honey harvest is underway. As beekeepers in Turkey's leading honey-producing province prepare to reap the rewards of their months of hard work, Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler met with producers during the honey harvest in Mesudiye, sharing significant news. At the event, he engaged with beekeepers and participated in honey extraction.

Support in Varroa Management Mayor Güler announced that the municipality will provide assistance with medications to combat the Varroa mite, one of the beekeepers' major challenges. This support aims to reduce production costs, protect colony health, and ensure sustainable honey production, thereby bolstering Ordu's strong beekeeping potential.
