Beekeepers in Eskişehir are pleased with this season's honey yield

Beekeepers in Eskişehir are pleased with this season's honey yield. Yılmaz Aşçı, President of the Eskişehir Beekeepers Association, highlighted the positive outcomes of the year. He noted that while excessive rainfall posed challenges, it also led to good results in honey and pollen production. After two years of drought, this year has been fruitful, and most of the harvest is complete as they work to deliver products to consumers.
Aşçı provided insights on pricing, stating that their honey is more affordable compared to commercial options. He recommended that beekeepers sell jarred honey starting at 700 lira, with prices ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 lira. They typically sell in 850 or 900-gram jars, striving to offer competitive prices despite rising costs.
