Erzincan is notable for its honey produced in high-altitude pastures and its diverse flora, which also yields various bee products. The region boasts three distinct geographical indication honeys: Refahiye Honey, Tercan Honey, and Erzincan Geven Honey.

The pastures in Erzincan provide an ideal environment for beekeepers, with plants such as geven and thyme supporting honey production as well as valuable bee products like pollen, propolis, royal jelly, and perga. Approximately 1,200 beekeepers operate 110,000 hives across the city.
