Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has initiated efforts to support beekeepers affected by a widespread fire that began between the Sarnıç and Çatakbağyaka neighborhoods in Menteşe District. The fire, which started on September 7 in the Sivri Mountain area, has damaged approximately 600 hectares, with cooling operations still ongoing. The municipality intervened with 179 personnel and 54 vehicles in the area where many beekeepers had left their hives.
