In the October 2007 issue of the journal "Beekeeping," authors K.A. Rozhkov and N.V. Pristach invite beekeepers to provide feedback on their research regarding "Bees on Enlarged Hive Frames." I would like to share my perspective, starting with the surprising silence from beekeepers about Yu.S. Soklakov's "Rus" hive, mentioned in issue #4 of 2003 and others. This innovation is groundbreaking in apiculture. While continuously designing new hives and technologies, we have complicated our practices, making it difficult to revert to simpler methods. One beekeeper argues that hive design is not crucial, emphasizing the importance of 25 conditions for bee management, particularly successful wintering.
