KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A truck carrying approximately 1 million bees crashed on an East Tennessee interstate on Friday, causing travelers to stop for both workers and the bees, possibly including a queen. The incident led to the closure of an exit on Interstate 40 in Knoxville, according to Mark Nagi, a spokesperson for the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. “The ramp from I-40 East to Henley Street is back open, but the truck is destroyed and the bees are… well… buzzing,” Nagi noted, sharing a photo of a beekeeper. “Unless you are dressed in this outfit, please stay in your vehicles in this area.”
