The Province participated in the 4th Federal Beekeeping Meeting held in Tucumán, attended by representatives from 22 provinces. Jujuy's beekeeping sector faces an internal demand that exceeds its production and aims to grow through increased hives, financing, training, and new marketing channels. The Jujuy delegation included Juan Casasco, the Director of Livestock Development, and local producers. Casasco emphasized the potential contribution of young agronomy students and a Tilquiza producer who learned from experiences in other regions. He noted that Jujuy has been supporting these federal meetings for four years, highlighting the involvement of young producers in recent editions.
