Osman Özbek, who runs a hardware store in Sorgun, Yozgat, began beekeeping as a hobby with just three hives and has now expanded to 250. He aims to increase his hive count to 350-400 in the upcoming season.

Özbek's interest in beekeeping grew through conversations with local beekeepers visiting his shop over the past ten years. Initially starting with three hives to relieve work stress, he gradually learned the intricacies of beekeeping and expanded his production.

He has joined the Yozgat Beekeepers Association and has produced 100 queen bees to strengthen his colonies for the next season. Özbek expressed that beekeeping has provided him a way to escape daily work pressures.
