Javier Rodríguez highlighted the growth of beekeeping in Buenos Aires during the opening of the XVII Latin American Beekeeping Congress (FILAPI 2026) in Mar del Plata. The Minister of Agrarian Development was joined by Lucas Martínez, president of the Argentine Beekeepers Society (SADA), and FILAPI president Persi Luna Peralta. They were accompanied by local officials, including former mayor Gustavo Pulti and General Alvarado's mayor Sebastián Ianantuony. The event, organized by the provincial Ministry and SADA, runs from August 31 to September 6, attracting over 1,000 participants from 23 countries and featuring more than 360 academic and technical submissions.
