Beekeeping Awareness Initiative Launched in Bodoland Territorial Region

Kokrajhar, July 3: An awareness program focused on scientific beekeeping skills took place today at the Tukrajhar Honey Processing Unit in Chirang district, organized by the National Beekeeping & Honey Mission. This initiative aimed to educate participants about scientific beekeeping methods in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). The BTR government has previously trained many beekeepers to enhance skill development and promote scientific practices in the area. The event featured in-depth discussions on beekeeping techniques and included the distribution of several beehives to support local beekeepers.
