Beyoncé Offers Empty Beekeeper Crate for $948, Sparking Buzz

On her 45th birthday, Beyoncé launched a limited-edition merchandise collection to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her album B’Day, featuring an unusual item priced at nearly $1,000. Among typical merchandise like T-shirts and hoodies, the collection includes a wooden box with no contents, available exclusively on her official online store.

The “Bey Keeper Collector’s Box” measures 18 x 14 inches and is made of light wood with a pleather strap. Only 500 units are available for $948.01, a price that reflects her birth date of September 4, 1981. Marketed as an “essential piece of art for the hive,” the box is inspired by traditional beekeeper crates and is intended to display a collection of Beyoncé vinyl records, which are not included.
