In Hakkari, efforts are underway to register beekeeping activities and help producers benefit more effectively from agricultural support. As of September 5, 2026, technical staff from the Yüksekova District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry are inspecting beehives belonging to local beekeepers. These field assessments aim to document the current status and number of hives, allowing for the collection of updated data on beekeeping activities.
