Teams from the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorates conducted field inspections of beehives, counting and assessing the hives of local beekeepers. This effort aimed to update the records of producers based on the collected data.

The initiative seeks to create current data on beekeeping activities, enabling producers to benefit more effectively from support programs and promoting sustainable production in the sector. Ongoing fieldwork is reported to continue across Afyonkarahisar to enhance beekeeping.

In three districts, beehives were individually identified as part of the ongoing efforts to support local beekeepers.
