Israeli Bee Farm Offers Warm Welcome to All Jewish Communities

Children gather at M’achoray Hadvash, or “Behind the Honey,” to learn about honey production as Rosh Hashanah approaches. The Kfar Chabad apiary welcomes students from diverse backgrounds, including public and religious schools, to explore how bees collect nectar and produce honey. Shoshi Rivkin, who manages the center with her husband, Shlomo, notes that some schools schedule visits at the start of the academic year to introduce students to something sweet.
