Homeowner discovers massive bee nest in bathroom after opening door

A woman in Singapore discovered a beehive in her bathroom, initially mistaking it for a shadow, as reported by Shin Min Daily News. Upon returning home around 7 p.m., Liu noticed a dark patch on the wall, which turned out to be a swarm of bees. "There were also a few insects flying around, and upon closer inspection, they turned out to be bees," she explained. Video footage showed the bees densely clustered on the toilet wall, seemingly forming a nest. Startled, she exited the bathroom and called a pest control service, which arrived around 9 p.m. to handle the swarm. The removal took about half an hour, but thousands of bees remained post-fumigation. Liu learned from the workers that the bees might have entered her home while searching for a new habitat.
