The Valderrey Town Council, in partnership with Naturgeis, will host an Organic Beekeeping course in November at the Municipal Youth Space in Barrientos. This initiative aims to introduce residents to bees and the benefits of sustainable beekeeping in rural areas. The course will consist of 30 hours of in-person instruction, offered free of charge, and participants will receive an official certificate. Attendees will learn about hive operations, bee management, and honey production processes, as well as the potential of organic beekeeping as a sustainable activity linked to the local environment.
