On September 9, 2026, in Temuco, a diploma program enhanced the skills of professionals and advisors who will share their knowledge with beekeepers across various municipalities in La Araucanía. The Diplomado en Producción Apícola Sustentable concluded with the certification of 22 professionals, funded by Corfo through its Human Capital Training Program and executed over five months by the Universidad Católica de Temuco (UC Temuco). The program targeted technicians, professionals, and extension workers in the beekeeping sector, focusing on critical areas such as health, nutrition, genetics, production management, regulations, marketing, and sustainability.
