Shahpur beekeepers educated about small hive beetle risks

An awareness camp for beekeepers was held in Shahpur on Thursday, organized by the Horticulture Department to address the threat of the small hive beetle and protective measures for bee colonies. Shahpur MLA Kewal Singh Pathania led the camp, urging officials to evaluate the losses beekeepers have faced and compile a report promptly. He instructed the SDM to work with local patwaris to assess damages and prepare a comprehensive document for submission to the Chief Minister and Horticulture Minister for assistance.
