Many years have passed since A.P. Ozerov's articles in the journal "Beekeeping" (No. 6, 1987) and the publication of his book "Rational Two-Queen Beekeeping" (1991), yet the adoption of his hive design has stagnated. Beekeepers who have constructed Ozerov's hive have found that the productivity of bee colonies in it is significantly higher than in single-queen hives. This article describes Ozerov's hive and its components based on his initial beekeeping method, with some modifications made from personal experience.
