Kerem Aktürkoğlu has become a focal point of criticism for Fenerbahçe, who are currently 6 points behind the league leaders after five weeks in the Süper Lig. The national player has not scored in 10 matches across all competitions, managing only 2 assists in Europe. In the league, he has taken 6 shots with just 1 on target, winning 12 out of 23 duels, while in Europe he won 25 out of 65 duels.

Fenerbahçe started the Süper Lig poorly, collecting only 7 points and falling behind the top teams. Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who was signed from Benfica for €22.5 million and a salary of €4.75 million, had a strong previous season with 15 goals and 10 assists but has struggled this season.
