Understanding the reproductive patterns of Varroa mites throughout the season and their correlation with the development rate of bee colonies is crucial for managing varroatosis. Research was conducted at the Alekshinskoye Research Institute in the Ryazan region, focusing on bee families of the Priok breed group. Four groups of nine families each were established, with the first two groups showing low infestation (0.8±0.13%) and the third and fourth groups showing moderate infestation (9.7±1.22%). The first and third groups had an average of 12.4±0.26 frames of bees and produced 10.9±1.06 kg of honey, while the second and fourth groups had 5.7±0.18 frames and 3.9±1.05 kg of honey.
