Enver Külter, who began beekeeping with 10 hives in Şırnak in 2009-2010, has achieved recognition with his “Şırnak Yayla Balı” brand, winning the “Gold Quality” award at the London International Honey Awards 2026. At 50 years old, Külter has expanded his production to 450 hives, emphasizing that his honey is entirely natural and is distributed across Turkey and sold online.

After his family was relocated from the Mehmet hamlet in the Bestler Dereler Region in 1987, Külter moved to Şırnak city center. He worked various jobs over the years but turned to beekeeping when these jobs proved insufficient for his family's needs. Külter has been in beekeeping for 15-16 years, stating, “I created a brand named Şırnak Yayla Balı. We ship all over Turkey and have launched our website.”
