On September 18, 2026, Bayburt began field assessments for the 2026 Beehive Support Program in Aydıntepe district. Producers interested in the support can now note the application dates.

The initiative focuses on beekeepers in Aydıntepe, with veterinarians conducting inspections of beehives across local villages and neighborhoods. The assessments are part of a structured program aimed at identifying both stationary and migratory beekeepers' hives.

Inspections are being carried out by designated teams who will check the hives on-site according to the established schedule. Producers wishing to benefit from the Beehive Support Program can submit their applications between September 7 and October 30, 2026.
