Apiculture - WEBINARS France-Québec - The Small Hive Beetle in Quebec Published on September 21, 2026 Sara Bouaziz Agronomist, Beekeeping Advisor CRSAD NEW WEBINAR ANNOUNCEMENT Beekeeping Exchanges France–Quebec Since spring 2025, CRSAD has been collaborating with APIBIO, a French organic beekeepers' association, on a project titled "Franco-Quebec Alliance Focused on Innovation for Economically Viable Beekeeping." This initiative has fostered numerous opportunities for sharing and collaboration between Quebec and French beekeepers. The first year featured visits from two French beekeepers to Quebec as part of an apicultural trip, followed by a visit to Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes with a group of Quebec female beekeepers. This experience was highlighted during the JIA 2026. As the project enters its second and final year, new activities are set to commence after a productive beekeeping season for the CRSAD team. With financial support from the Permanent Commission for Franco-Quebec Cooperation (CPCFQ), the project will continue with a beekeeping seminar in Avignon, France, on November 26 and 27, where some CRSAD team members will participate as speakers, providing an opportunity to
