Three honeys from Telde have distinguished themselves among the best in Gran Canaria. The municipality's beekeeping showcased its production quality at the XX Official Honey Contest of Gran Canaria 2025, earning three awards for local producers: Carmen Rosa Florido Santana and Alexis Monzón López each won first prizes, while Miguel Rosales Cruz secured a second prize, positioning Telde as a notable municipality in this edition. The awards were presented on Wednesday at the Agricultural Experimental Farm of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, during a gala that brought together producers, farmers, winemakers, and beekeepers from across the island.
