On September 23, results were announced during the Beekeeper's Day event in Cachicoto, Monzón district. Multifloral honey production exceeded 25,000 kilograms in various areas of Huánuco in 2026, generating approximately S/1 million for 547 beekeeping families. The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) reported that producers receive support to enhance hive management and honey quality. This initiative spans 12 districts in the region, providing an income alternative for rural families. Producers are also exploring other hive products to expand their commercial opportunities.
