Roquevaire will host its annual Bee and Honey Festival on September 27, 2026. This event, organized by the GAEG (Groupement Apicole d'Entraide du Garlaban), aims to promote and protect bees, their habitats, and biodiversity. Established in 1981, the association includes 85% amateur beekeepers and professionals from the Var region, northern Marseille, and Aix-en-Provence, extending to La Ciotat and Cassis. Their mission includes raising awareness about the dangers of pesticides and educating youth through school programs.
