Yusuf Göktepe, a beekeeper from Şırnak, began his beekeeping journey four years ago after receiving a suggestion and support from Mehmet Zeki Sidar. His honey has since won gold medals in competitions held in London and Paris.

Starting with 10 hives, Göktepe now manages 200 hives, including 165 with bees and 35 with traditional baskets, producing around 2.5 tons of honey annually. His honey has been recognized in international competitions, winning the "Golden Taste Award" in Paris in January 2025 and a gold medal at the "International Quality Honey Competition" in London on June 27 of this year.
