In Karakale village, Selim district of Kars, a brown bear caused damage by tipping over a beehive and consuming honey. The incident was captured on security cameras. Local beekeeper Ayhan Aydın discovered the damage to his hives in the morning and reviewed the footage, which showed the bear approaching the hives and targeting one in particular.

The video revealed that the bear managed to access the honey by overturning the hive and spent some time consuming it. It was seen eating nearly all the honey before calmly leaving the area without any signs of panic. Following the incident, one hive was found overturned and damaged. The footage highlights the risks faced by beekeeping activities in the region, and Aydın's investigation ensured the event was documented.
