A new project has been launched in Kartepe to support rural development and promote honey production. During a ceremony held at the Kartepe Municipality's Additional Service Building, a total of 250 beehive sets were distributed to 125 local beekeepers.
The event was attended by Kartepe Mayor Av. M. Mustafa Kocaman, Kartepe Agricultural Chamber President Hüseyin Türker, municipal council members, village heads, deputy mayors, and department heads. The distribution aimed to enhance local production and agricultural diversity by providing two hive sets to each beekeeper in the district.
