Bronx Honey Initiative Offers Beekeeping Education and Local Honey Sourcing

Boogie Down Bronx Honey, founded by Sean and Alaura Flynn, operates forty-three hives across The Bronx, lower Westchester County, and Manhattan. The Bronx, known as New York City's greenest borough, provides diverse wildflowers for the bees, making it ideal for beekeeping. In addition to selling their locally sourced honey at farmers' markets, they offer workshops on beekeeping and honey extraction for community members.
