Bornova Municipality has conducted its first honey harvest of the year at its apiary in Kayadibi. Instead of selling the honey collected during the harvest, which was attended by Mayor Ömer Eşki, it has been jarred and placed on the shelves of Kent Market for free distribution to those in need.

Mayor Ömer Eşki participated in the honey harvest organized by the Agricultural Services Department, where local village heads also attended. The honey was carefully extracted and jarred during the event, with Eşki personally involved in the process. He emphasized the importance of combining production with social justice, stating that the highest quality products and fresh foods are most accessible to those in need in Bornova.
