Starting October 1, samples can be submitted for the national honey competition "The Excellent Hungarian Honey of the Year," announced at the end of September. Organized by the Békés County Göndöcs Benedek Beekeepers Association and the National Hungarian Beekeeping Association, the event aims to ensure quality control and professional evaluation of commercially available natural honeys. Participants can submit honey produced in Hungary, whether from commercial or small-scale producers, with a deadline of November 8.
