The government may begin providing financial support to beekeepers per hive as early as next year, with a confirmed start in 2028. Kranj – Minister Janez Cigler Kralj announced a historic development, stating that Slovenia will implement systematic support for each beehive. Following a meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Beekeeping Association of Slovenia, association president Boštjan Noč expressed satisfaction with the announcement.
