The Timișoara City Hall is launching a new ground disinfection campaign to combat mosquitoes and their larvae, scheduled from October 1 to 10, 2026. To reduce public inconvenience, spraying will occur exclusively at night, between 10 PM and 6 AM. Authorities advise residents, particularly children, the elderly, and those with heart conditions, asthma, or chemical allergies, to avoid areas where spraying is taking place.
