The Directorate General of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources in Al Dhahirah Governorate has distributed pollen traps to several beekeepers involved in a project aimed at enhancing the value of Omani honey products. This initiative included practical demonstrations on how to operate the traps and properly store the collected pollen. The distribution took place during an introductory workshop held at the directorate's headquarters, attended by beekeepers and technical staff, with the goal of improving honey production efficiency and increasing beekeepers' economic returns, especially during dry periods with limited forage. This project is supported by the Agricultural and Fisheries Development Fund.
