A significant meeting recently took place at the Ministry of Agriculture between Minister Janez Cigler Kralj and Boštjan Noč, president of the Beekeeping Association of Slovenia. The minister assured beekeepers that support for each beehive will be systematically established by 2028 at the latest. There is also consideration for an earlier implementation in 2027, though this cannot yet be guaranteed. All beekeepers with registered bee colonies will be eligible for support, which includes approximately 200,000 bee families, with an expected amount of around 10 euros per family, totaling about two million euros.
