Widows initiate beekeeping project with 17 hives.

A group of widows in Kibaha District, Coast Region, has initiated a beekeeping project with 17 hives to generate income and promote economic independence. Launched in Ruvu River Valley on land owned by Kibaha Environmental Conservation Action (KECA) in Dosa Village, the project aims to grow as the Tanzania Women Widows Association (CCWWT) gains expertise and boosts production. CCWWT Chairperson Ms. Zuhura Mzava expressed gratitude to KECA for the land, viewing the project as the start of a new economic journey for the widows.
