This event has passed. On Wednesday, September 30 at 8:00 PM, there was a conference on the Asian hornet aimed at collective action in the Grand Besançon area. As part of its initiative against invasive species and in collaboration with FREDON Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Grand Besançon Métropole organized awareness-raising conferences for the public. The discussions focused on the biology of the hornet, local challenges, and approved control methods. Attendees learned about the risks to biodiversity, beekeeping, and health, with insights from a FREDON BFC specialist.

The event took place at the Salle de l’Amitié, located at 26 rue de Besançon in Thise, 25220. Admission was free but required registration.
