Rotterdam - Diergaarde Blijdorp is the prime location in Rotterdam to observe exotic animals, including the feared Asian hornet, as noted by Bart Bos in a recent piece. During his visit, he encountered the Asian hornet, also known as the Yellow-legged hornet. Initially thinking he had spotted a stray, he soon noticed a nest along a path leading to the Asian section of the zoo, where numerous hornets were buzzing around the flowers. Fortunately, a sign was present, although he had forgotten the hornets' name. He managed to navigate the area safely but warns others to be cautious.
