As the 2027 beekeeping season approaches, prices for various bee products are starting to take shape. Prices for package bees, queen bees, swarms, and strong colonies vary based on colony strength, frame count, queen quality, and whether a hive is included. An early market survey by Arıcılık.org indicates that the price for an 8-frame package with a queen ranges from 7,500 to 8,000 TL, while a queen bee costs around 1,000 TL, a breeding queen is priced at 5,000 TL, and a swarm is about 3,500 TL. Stronger colonies see higher prices, with a 15-frame colony ready for honey flow estimated at 18,000 TL and a 20-frame strong colony at approximately 20,000 TL. Packages sold with a new hive are priced around 12,000 TL. These figures represent early pricing for the 2027 season, which may fluctuate based on producer, region, colony strength, queen quality, brood quantity, hive type, and delivery conditions.
