My visit to Irgizly and the Šulgan-Taš National Park primarily aims to explore the cave complex of the same name, located about halfway between Irgizly village and Starosubchangulovo town, approximately 30 km from Irgizly. However, the rugged journey along the rocky mountain road made me realize that the entire enchanting region deserves thorough exploration. The next day, around eleven, we arrive at the Šulgan-Taš tourist base near the cave, from where a three-kilometer educational trail leads along the Akidel River, featuring several covered exhibits, wooden pavilions, observation platforms, and various wooden sculptures and information boards.
