West Shore Beekeepers Announce Annual Taste of Honey Event

The West Shore Beekeepers Association will hold its annual "A Taste of Honey" event on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ludington Senior Center, 308 S. Rowe St. Admission is free.

The event will showcase local honey and bee products, educational activities, and provide opportunities to meet local beekeepers. This year features an expanded children's activity table with crafts, bee-themed learning stations, and a hands-on beeswax lip balm workshop.

Master Beekeeper Ed Malkowski, with over 60 years of experience, and other local beekeepers will be available to answer questions. Additional activities include free honey tastings from regional bijenstand and a live bee observation hive, weather permitting.
