Javier and Begoña, a couple from Burgos, started their journey 12 years ago in Briviesca. They are now developing a center to promote environmental respect, study bees, and build community.
Through their company Vamos Aunando, they produce honey, sell wax, and offer workshops and visits to their apiary called the Escuelita de abejas. Their hives are located nearly 1,000 meters high between the Sierra de la Demanda and Montes Obarenes. Both are passionate about beekeeping and manage their hives calmly and intuitively.
