In 2026, more than 25,000 kilograms of multifloral honey have been produced, providing economic opportunities for families involved in beekeeping activities promoted by the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) in Alto Huallaga, Huánuco region.
On the occasion of the Peruvian Beekeeper Day on September 23, 30 producers gathered in Cachicoto, Monzón district, to expand their knowledge on honey production, harvesting, post-harvest, and use of hive products.
